What a commission is
Some links on Aura go to a retailer. If you buy through one of those links, the retailer may pay Aura a commission. You do not pay extra. The price is the retailer's price.
Aura participates in the Amazon Associates Program. Links to Amazon include the store tag aurainnovat0c-20 so Amazon can tell that the click came from Aura. Other affiliate networks may be added later. If they are, this page will say so before those links are used.
What a commission does not buy
Compensation does not decide a Truth Check, a score, or a verdict. A company cannot purchase a ranking, remove a material limitation, or stop Aura from describing a no-cost or non-commission option. The same standards in our editorial standards and Truth Check methodology apply whether or not a link pays.
- A plain-language disclosure sits before or beside the first compensated link on a page. A footer by itself is not that disclosure.
- Compensated links use rel="sponsored".
- Each scored pick names how Aura knows it: personally tested, independently researched, manufacturer information, a sample, or an affiliate relationship. Current product picks are independently researched. Aura has not personally tested them.
- Each picks section names one non-commission alternative, once. If that option is already a scored card, it is not repeated.
- If a key part of the score cannot be verified, Aura does not publish a number for that pick, unless the research entry itself says the missing part out loud and still shows the supplied verdict.
- Material product claims are rechecked at least every six months. The card shows the last check and the next one.
- Aura does not print live Amazon prices. Any price on a card is plain text from a cited page and can change.
Cookies
When you click an Amazon affiliate link, Amazon may set or read a cookie so it can credit a later purchase. Aura does not receive your Amazon account, your cart, or the rest of what you browse there. That cookie is described in the privacy notice.
